A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

How empty spaces create great minds, part 1

If you didn’t catch the posts from this last week, here they are: Monday was all about being a grace deliverer. While we are “graced” by God, we can also “grace” others. Tuesday I posted about a great sermon I had heard at church about the dangers of comparison. I’m particularly guilty here, often comparing myself to… Read more

A woman I admire and why she encourages me

Can we admire a stranger? Can a stranger encourages us. I know someone like that. I’ve never talked to her but every time I see her walking, I feel encouraged to aspire to my dreams as well. Read more

Hey, I kind of understand the Iowa caucus

I was talking to a couple of women in a waiting room today. I told them I got up this morning and excitedly declared to my husband first thing, “Hey, honey, it’s Iowa caucus day!” (No, I really did. They didn’t believe me either at first.) They thought I was weird because I like all this so… Read more
