A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Riots and Rockets. Shades of the sixties
Talk about history repeating itself. The sixties were a time of rocket launches and riots. The only difference is that now we are seeing everything unfold twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We couldn’t avoid it if we tried. This will not be a political post. There’s enough blame to go around for… Read more

Have you heard of excitement fatigue?
OK, so I made that term up. But I think you will agree it makes sense. Fatigue is a common trigger for depression. And it doesn’t have to be the kind that results from physical labor. It can be stress fatigue. I can be emotional fatigue. It can be mental fatigue. And it can be… Read more

Happy Memorial Day. Let’s all be heroes.
I’m afraid Memorial Day is not what it used to be. It used to be a holiday for “remembering”. Not necessarily a remembering of anyone we personally knew. But a remembering of those who sacrificed their lives so we could have our freedom. Right now we need to remember all those men and women who… Read more
