A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

    half-filled joy

I’m a little “down” today. Not for any particular reason. Just an ongoing situation that I give too much thought to sometime. It centers around a person I love very much but who has never found a lot of happiness in this world. I would give anything to be able to gift-wrap happiness for them as they always Read more

why I keep a cancer victim’s sewing box

I’m posting today about a  little red sewing case. I’ve had this little case as long as I can remember. Probably from an estate or garage sale. I keep my gardening gloves in it. I often think I should get rid of it as I don’t really need it. Every time though, I think about its previous owner and why Read more

    lamp makeover

Here’s a lamp I’ve been working on. I don’t have before pictures but it was a dull brown. I painted it red first. Then white. You can see some of the red coming through. Than I “washed” it with a walnut stain.   I sanded off some of the paint to expose the red paint Read more
