A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • My great find

What a great find. Would you believe I paid five bucks for this brand new rope pouf? Found the tray at same time. Looks great in LaCabinette. I never fail to find something great there. It’s in Cadillac, Mi. Live thrift shopping. Oh, the silver platters are from there as well. I got them at… Read more

  • In outpatient surgery

No, not me. Hubby. Routine colonoscopy and endoscopy. But as you know from earlier posts, (using my phone to post and “Link” not working. Search under hospital and I think you’ll find it.) nothing is routine where he’s concerned. I wasn’t worried till he said he was a little worried. When you are prone to depression,… Read more

  • “junk car” heaven

Today is a sad day for me. You probably know by now that I’m frugal. (Others would call me cheap.) I’ve mentioned my eighteen year-old car before but today’s news is very sad. Today it died. We knew it was sick but we had no idea it was dying. It wasn’t the engine or anything… Read more

  • It’s so-o-o-o outdated.

I have a problem. What’s the deal with theses DIY shows? One of the first things perspective buyers mention is the “popcorn” ceiling.  “Ew (correct spelling, I checked), we have to get rid of these popcorn ceilings.  They’re so–o-o-o-o-o dated.” My husband and I are getting so-o-o-o-o-o tired of hearing this. First of all, what’s so… Read more

  • contemplating our navels

Have you ever noticed how some people just like to “think” about doing things rather than actually doing them? It’s like they feel if they think about it enough and talk about it enough, they’ve actually done it. It’s a case of “contemplating their navels” and all it does it get at the lint. My hubby… Read more
