Why I “love” wearing a facemask, not what you think.
I’ve decided I love wearing a facemask but not for the reasons you might think.
Think about it.
First, it doesn’t matter if you have your make-up on or not. Guys, it doesn’t matter if you shave.
Who knows?
Didn’t brush your teeth?
Who knows?
But here’s the best part.
No one sees your wrinkles!!!!! (And if you’re over the age of thirty, you have some.)
Who knows?
So if you’re hesitant about wearing your masks, think of all the vain reasons you know have to wear one.
I went to my “big” grocery store yesterday (not a pleasant experience), when I first realized this. I was walking around in my adorable cute roseprint mask, when it dawned on me that no one could really see me.
And then I thought, I can even mutter under my breath and no one can hear me.
Of course, it wasn’t so great for talking. My husband was shopping at one store and I was shopping at another so we were calling each other to check on who was finding what. That was hard. (We had our phones in plastic bags and cleaned down the bag when we got in the car. Brilliant, huh? Much easier and safer than wiping down a phone.)
So, yes, wear your mask. It’s not so much for you as it else for everyone else. But now we have another reason,
Hide those wrinkles!
