Wow, wow, and one more Wow

God's "wow"

God’s “wow”

I am absolutely in awe when God shows up in what I call a “how does God do that”, moment. It’s when God anticipates I need a confirmation from the Bible, circumstances or some other resources. Today is such a day.

I don’t follow my traditional reading plan at the cabin because I have a different Bible up here. My time is more “loosey-goosey”, no real plan. Just whatever strikes my fancy.

Today I opened up to Ecclesiastes, chapter five. In verse 6, I read, “Do not let your mouth lead you into sin.” Seeing as I have a problem in this area, [Um, don’t look so smug. You do, too. 🙂 ], I appreciate the reminder. I had completely overlooked this one. But then I read further and that’s where the “wow, wow, wows” comes in.

Verse eighteen:

When God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work–this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.

(If you read Monday’s post, you will understand why this was a “wow”.)

Anyway, enjoy this day. It’s biblical.
