You can easily make these very cute journals

These are cute journals and they are so easy to put together.

I take a few days every year where I concentrate on making these. There are two ways to make them.

For some, I cut my own papers and glue them in. Others, I purchase journals from hereand use them as my base. When I use my own paper, I either glue them in or sew them right down the middle on my sewing machine. Yep, my sewing machine.

It works great.

I cover the journal covers with scrapbook paper, wrapping paper and other papers. Most of the adornments I buy at Dollar Tree and when they are on sale Hobby Lobby. Some items I find at garage and estate sales, especially items like lace and trim.

Sometimes I stamp on them. The journals you see in these photos were put together while I was recovering from foot surgery.

Good news

And guess what? I can walk in my boot!!!! Can you guess how excited I am? I can easily handle the next few weeks. The doctor said my healing is much faster than he expected. However, my husband deserves a lot of credit for this. He was a great nurse and kept me off my feet as much as possible.

Anyway, here are the journals.

These are so much fun to make. You should give them a try.

If you’re wondering what I do with these, well, it’s a secret but I find all kinds of ways to share them. I love giving gifts and God continues to present opportunities to do what I love doing.

God always honors our efforts when we are faithful to his purpose for us.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day and God bless.
