Chalk-painted projects/Aqua

We just got back from Florida and I thought I’d share some pictures from my favorite store, “The Beach House” in Panama City Beach.

The pictures I’m showing today are just ordinary pieces, everything from cupboard doors, to trays that have been painted with Aqua chalk paint. This first picture is of a miscellaneous lid. Looks quite stunning and it stands alone as interesting piece when painted blue and distressed.

I think this waste basket is just plain fun. That’s rhinestones along the bottom.

This is one of those old wooden snack trays. Notice how they put a candle in the space designated for a glass. I looked at it closely and I think it was painted white first, then a pattern of a starfish,( probably used contact paper and stuck down), painted blue over that, and then removed the paper.

Here is a picture of the booth as a whole. There is so much to see.Don’t you just love the colors?

I particularly loved this suitcase. It’s painted with white glitter paint. I have some suitcases sitting under my coffee table I plant to do this to as soon as the weather (IF the weather) warms up.

Isn’t this a neat clock?  Wouldn’t this be easy to do?
