A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

One way to effectively reduce the pain of anxiety

My mom’s final moments and the beginning of my pain

(I wrote this within about an hour after my mom died on May eleventh while I was waiting for Hospice to come. I wrote it because I want a written account of how I felt in the hopes that it will prove helpful to someone else going through this. I’m reposting this in honor of her memory.)… Read more

Moses is my new hero and here’s why

He really is and here’s why. I think I told you I was writing an upcoming series about prayer. In preparation for that series, I found a site that listed all the prayers in the Bible. I had no idea there were so many. This is only one page. So I’m wading through them and… Read more

  • My Red and green bedroom. Think you’ll like it.

This is one of our guest rooms. It’s the only room in the house with other than neutral colored walls. It’s red and green on purpose as we refer to it as our Christmas bedroom. This first picture shows a “sweet dreams” sign I made a few years ago. I made them in different colors… Read more
