A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

I remember reading a book called “The Mulvaneys” years ago. It’s about a family that everyone thought was perfect, but… Read more

thankfulness/z, zoos
Thankfulness/Z Zap, Zebra, zero, zipper, zeal, zealot, zit, zoo. Boy, “z” is hard. For one thing, I’m on the train home from Chicago and don’t have the option of the internet to find words beginning with “z”. So I’m having to wing it. But I do like zoos, so zoos it is. Now… Read more

thankfulness/y
thankfulness/Y Today I’m thankful for yesterdays. Not all yesterdays. Just like all tomorrows won’t necessarily be something to be thankful for, not all yesterdays are either. But at least tomorrows hold promise. Yesterdays only hold memories. We can’t rewrite memories. Or can we? Our past is our past, the facts of it, but not our… Read more

thankfulness/x
Thankfulness/X Today I am choosing xanthochroism. To say I had limited choices with the letter “X” is redundant. Of course, I could have cheated and used “XOXO” but that would be, hmmm, well, cheating. So what is xanthochroism? It is the abnormal coloration of feathers in which yellow replaces the normal… Read more
