A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • coffee and me

It occurred to me the other day as I  was reading some various blogs that I don’t share much about my every day life. I guess I didn’t think it would be interesting. But then I realized that I found other blogger’s lives interesting-even the mundane. It gave me a better picture of who Read more

  • church or club?

I hope your Easter was wonderful. Our church service was joyful and the music was great. Our family was all in attendance. What a blessing that was! God really spoke to my heart this Easter. He freed me from some outdated and harmful (to me, that is) thinking. (More about that while I process and Read more

(This is a distinctly evangelical post. Just letting you know.) The name Maundy is derived from the Latin word “mandatum”, meaning a commandment. Jesus Christ, at the Last Supper, commanded: “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34. Today Read more
