A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Happiness is overrated. Ouch! What could I possibly mean by that? Only that if we seek happiness for happiness sake, we’ll probably never find it. So where does happiness come from? Did you ever get to the point where you say, “Enough is enough”? I’m there. Some of it is my fault. I am a people pleaser. I am a peace maker. I want everyone I know to like each other. I want everyone in my family to get along. It’s not happened thus far. Don’t Read more

  • when we blow it

Don’t you just hate it when you find yourself hating your own words and wondering where they all came from? • diy/wall placques

These are some plaques I made a couple of years ago. Because I was a very novice blogger at that time, it didn’t occur to me to take “process” pictures. The words I chose are from Psalm 46:10, one of, if not my all-time, favorite Bible verses. I am not a “still” person inside or Read more
