A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

some people need to grow up
Boy, life can sure can deal some blows, can’t it? But so many of them could be avoided if people just accepted the responsibility that is theirs in a situation. I’m mad today. Mad that some people can’t see what’s right in front of them. Mad that I can’t grab them by the throat and Read more

Good-bye over-thinking.
“Good-bye over-thinking brain. I’ve just about had enough of you. Shape up or ship out. I’ve been meaning to have this conversation with you for a long time now. You just never shut up long enough to let me get a word in edgewise. So here’s the thing. I’d like you to take a vacation-a Read more

a bookworm is eating my apple
Hmm, the latest book I’ve read. (I’m responding to Word Press’s daily prompt, bookworm. ) I’m always reading more than one so how do I pick? One of M. Scott Peck’s books? I usually have one of John Ortberg’s or Andy Stanley’s always open. Then there’s “Simple Abundance” by Sarah Ban Breathnach for more practical inspiration. There are novels by John Grisham, Read more

wet stringy hair in public
What is it with Americans? Why do we think anyone wants to see us with a wet head? I mean take a few minutes, women (unless you’re a man with long hair), and at least blow dry for about ten minutes. Or get up earlier. I don’t care what you do but please Read more
