A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • living in the moment

“You can’t live tomorrow today. You can’t live yesterday today. You can only live today’sday.” (This is just my way of saying we need to learn to live in the present moment. It’s really the only one we’ve got.) I’ve been outside in my gardens  most of the day. I’m always surprised at how I can Read more

  • melt-down Monday

OK, here we go with Meltdown Mondays. I’m picking on drivers today and I’ll bet most of you will agree with me. It makes me mad when:: drivers don’t take their turn in a construction zone when the traffic is being channeled down to a couple of lanes. I love it when truckers block the lanes Read more

God can really upset the apple cart, can’t he? As you know I am a Christian. I believe God directs me when I ask but that he also directs me even when I don’t ask. Today was such a day. I was supposed to take my mom to a movie. She hasn’t been out of Read more
