A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Can we be too competitive?
How do you handle rivalry? I’ve been playing “Words with Friends” over the weekend. I really like the game, but it wasn’t until this morning that I realized I don’t enjoy it. I want to, I just don’t. That has to change. What’s the point of playing if it can’t also be fun? But if you read my Read more

Depression is like a roller-coaster ride
Depression is like a roller-coaster ride. It has its share of up and down. It’s a ride you can’t wait to get off. (I like this old post of mine because it shows how far I’ve come. It’s one of my very first posts.) Good days and Bad days Moods are unstable Moods, in general, Read more

Get moving and you will feel better
Get moving and you will feel better. When I was writing “Depression Has A Big Voice. Make Yours Bigger!”, I had noticed that if I got up and moved periodically, like every hour or so, I felt better. But with all my research, I had never run across this idea of such frequent movement as Read more

Depression responds to creativity
Depression responds to creativity, as does anxiety. It is a good antidote to low moods in general. A DIY to spark creativity. Sometimes when I create something, I don’t take progress pictures because I’m just experimenting and don’t really know where I’m headed. That’s the case with this little DIY below. I had some lightweight Read more
