A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Ever since this horrible crisis started, I’ve questioned the thoughts of the scientific community about the wearing of masks for the general public. We were told to wear a mask if we showed symptoms because it protected those around us. I immediately said to Read more

Don’t leave God out of this scary crisis.
I was listening to a doctor the other day on a TV news show and wanted to share this with you. Let me share that I know what anxiety feels like. It feels like an elephant is sitting on your chest. It’s hard to breath. Guess what one of the symptoms of Covid-19 is? Yep. Read more

I am the Lord and there is none beside me.
Isaiah 43 is one of the most wonderful chapters in all of scripture. (Of course I say that about a lot of chapters.) But what draws me to this particular chapter is how many times God draws attention to his own lordship. God is not capable of arrogance as it would sound coming from human Read more

Is it just me or do you feel like all this is surreal?
I hope it’s not just me but this whole crisis still doesn’t seem real to me. I mean, I’m walking every day as usual. I’m going to bed and getting up at the normal times. I’m eating. I’m working on projects around the house. I’m doing all the things I usually do. ALMOST: It started Read more
