Next Monday I will be starting a series about the questions I ask myself to discern God’s direction for specific situations. .
I will be posting Mondays through Thursdays and it will take about two weeks.
The common sense instruction in Scripture gives me the answers I need in most cases.
But then there are those times when the wisdom I need is harder to discern. I taught this series in a Bible study and it seemed most people in the classes grappled with how to tell if it’s God’s voice they’re hearing or their own.
As I said earlier, it’s not hard to know God’s will as it applies to general principles .It’s when we are faced with specific issues that it’s a little harder. It’s when we’re having to make a decision in regards to a plan or a request from someone, that these questions work the best.
