Decorating DIY

Hi,

Posting some pics of my landing in middle of stairway. The table has been changed a few times. I love little tables. This one was red, black, and gold.Here is the “before”.

This picture shows first round of painting. I barely sanded as I knew I was going to distress it anyway. This picture is kind of blurry.

Here is paint I used. I used both the Aqua and the Jade one over the other till I got the color I wanted.

I sanded lightly.The blue is Aqua spray paint by Rustoleum which I stained over after it was dry. I had some metal flashing that I cut and attached with little brads on the under ledge. The legs were painted Metallic Silver, also by Rustoleum. The basket was silver. Wasn’t that lucky?

As you can see from this angle, the flowers are not in the basket but on the wall. Scored them at Hobby Lobby for $5.00. They were in the clearance area.

I wanted something on the bottom shelf. So I kept with the metallic theme and spray painted Goodwill vases the same silver color.
