If you’ve read my posts over the week-end you know that I was supposed to accompany my hubby to Canada. He was going to perform an audit and I was going along to keep him company. You also know why all this came about. So-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
What’s a left-behind wife supposed to do?
But until then, get out the spray paint. YEA!!!!!!

And wouldn’t you know Goodwill provided me with some cheap canvases. I’m always buying canvas pictures whether I like them or not. I buy them for the canvas, not the picture. (Have you ever priced the size of canvas’s these days? It’s right through the roof. Unless you paint, I guess you haven’t. I mean why would you care? 🙂
Before I show you what I’m doing, here are two examples of what other bloggers have done.

This project below is very cool. May do a “bird on a wire” on my painting. Is that too “not so original”.

I found two good-sized ones today for $4.80 apiece. I actually kind of liked them. I wondered why the person who painted them gave them away. All she needed to do was just a little more work. They were pretty good as they were. I just needed them to be different colors.
So here’s what they looked liked before.

Here’s the original number of cans of spray paint.

Here’s the ones I ended up using and I probably didn’t even get them all in this picture.

The canvas’s are not complete. This is just the first go around. The foundation. Here’s where I’m stopping for today. It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow so I will take out my acrylics and put the finishing touches on them. Can you see the theme emerging?

I’m sure my hubby is not too unhappy for the mess that is going to ensue.
