Peep. Peep. Who’s there? Spring!

Are you all as excited as I am about the coming spring? I mean it’s been c-o-o-o-o-o-o-l-d! I’m tired of being cold as is just about everyone else I talk to. I’m tired of putting on boots, coats, gloves, scarves, gloves, scraping off my car, sliding on ice, etc., etc.

My spring is going to be a little compromised because of more foot surgery in a few weeks. But I’ve got a plan.

See this?

Soon it will look like this.

I have the extra fabric to make some larger pillows.

Surgery is scheduled for March 27th, and unless we have a blizzard, I’m getting the ladder out next week and draping the fabric. I’m getting the furniture out of the shed. I mean if I’m not going to be able to do anything, I’m at least going to enjoy NOT doing it.

Then I found these.

Seriously, I can’t wait to do this.

On a more serious note. I don’t like this, I mean the surgery. But the limping is getting old and causing a lot of other problems. I’m not looking forward to the recuperation period but I am a pro at this.
