A unique way to use a fish creole
This used to be a window in our cabin. It was like this when we moved in. I had curtains there for a long time but when we redid the floors and painted the paneling, I wanted to do something different.
Voila’!
Hang the antique creole in the “window”.
I bought some greenery from Hobby Lobby for half price. I think this is about five bunches. I then added some red beads just to accent the red in the rest of the cabin.
I think it’s pretty darn cute. Here are some more pictures of the cabin.
We replaced the floor and painted all the walls Cottage White by Behr.
I’m still looking for a replacement for the floor paint. I have since replaced the chair on the left with a chair from home. I’m debating the trim around the opening. Thinking of dry brushing it. What do you think? It does match the ceiling though.
I keep thinking about repainting the chairs but I kind of like the “chippiness”.
I was kind of scared to try the black wall but I’m glad I did. It’s Iron Ore by SW.
My sweet husband added pallet boards to my “counter” below. I absolutely love it. The tablecloth is vintage and I have collected lots of them over the years.
My she-shed sits about ten yards away in the woods.
It’s called “La Cabinette” and a dear friend of mine made a sign that hangs on the front porch. It’s decorated in pink, gold, with light aqua accents.
I am a blessed and lucky woman and I’m smart enough to know it.
God bless and have a good day.
