A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Many times we don’t mean our words to suggest anything other than what they literally mean. We’re not intending to hurt. But words can hurt. It’s absolutely ridiculous to think… Read more

How to really forgive and should we forget?
(This is a long post today but not nearly long enough. The subject is forgiveness which certainly can’t be thoroughly covered in one post.) Forgiveness is such an over-used, over-applied, and misunderstood word I can hardly bear to hear it spoken. People use the word so casually anymore, it’s lost its meaning. I’m a Christian… Read more

What is the condition of your heart?
Someone once said, A good heart is better than all the heads in the world. My mom never graduated from high school. She will tell you she is not smart although nothing could be further from the truth. She is a woman of integrity. So when I came across this phrase, I thought of her.… Read more

When God wakes you up at 4:00 a.m.
As you know, there has been a lot going on in my life this week. Yesterday was such a day. You can read about it here. This morning at 4:00 a.m. God woke me up. I’m sure many would say it was because of stress. Some of it might have been but God certainly had some things… Read more
