A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

(Hello. 2017 is calling. This was supposed to post yesterday and for the life of me I couldn’t understand why it didn’t. So I called in the big guns at WP to help me out. Duh. I had it scheduled for 2016. I guess I just didn’t want to step into the new year! So… Read more

  • A good day in Paradise and how you can feel good

As I wrote yesterday, this will be a very random week of posts and thoughts. Mom’s doctor’s visit yesterday revealed nothing more about her mental state that we didn’t already know. We just wanted to make sure there was nothing “medical” going on with her. She is losing weight, however. That has me concerned. In… Read more

    Rough week? Follow God’s map

I had some posts all ready to go this week but I’m putting them on hold. Posts this week will be random and straight from my lips to God’s ears, meaning I won’t edit much and might even ramble a little. Here’s why. If you’ve read any of the posts about my mother, you will… Read more
