A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Another dark day in Michigan but it’s sunny inside

Now begins the dark days of winter, at least where I live here in Michigan. Because I’m like a block from the lake, our weather patterns are pretty screwing. But Sunday, it was sunny, and warm (40, that’s warm here) so my husband and I walked in our state park. It’s situated on Lake Michigan… Read more

    Yea! The New Year Begins

I have nothing important to say today. Busy taking down Christmas decorations and getting ready for a visit to the dentist. Nothing important but I hate going. Not because of pain or whatever but because my dentist is kind of a “character”. He’s a really good dentist but let’s just say he “fills the room’… Read more

Why reflecting on the past is good

(I wrote this last year. Reading it made me feel encouraged that I really did enjoy my last Christmas with my mom. My worst fear that I mention here was that she would be in a nursing home next year at this time. She wasn’t. We kept her home till she died. And she died… Read more
