A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • How to be kinder during the holidays

People just don’t seem as kind as they used to be.   Do you agree? I wonder, did we become less kind before or after the advent of reality shows where people do nothing but scream at each other? It’s like asking which came first, the chicken or the egg. But It would seem to… Read more

  • How to “put it all away” after Christmas.

No, it’s not what you think. I’m not talking about Christmas decorations. That’s easy. There are lots of “things” in our life that need organizing, that need to be “put away” and forgotten, that need to be resolved, that need to be approached differently. Taking a knee-jerk reaction to the experiences of the last year is… Read more

My adorable twig village. You have to see.

For years a friend of mine has made me twig houses. They are my Christmas village. She makes them all different sizes and all different designs. So without further ado: The snowflakes are battery-operated lights.     Look at the curtains.     I couldn’t get them all in one picture but here’s most of… Read more
