A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Simple experiences make the best memories

We all know that it is truly the simple things, the simple experiences that end up imprinted on our soul, forever in our memory. At least, we say it does. Makes us sound so noble, doesn’t it? At the time I hadn’t head the phrase “Diva Den”,… Read more

Don’t you wonder sometimes about the strength of other Christians? I do. And often I come up short by comparison. Many times I feel “flawed”. I mentioned yesterday that I have met some very inspiring people these last eight days. (In order to understand this post you will absolutely have to read yesterday’s post.  I don’t… Read more

Where is Bob Seeger when you need him?

I took my walk last week. I needed Bob Seeger, Credence Clearwater Revival, and Elvis Presley.  They were nowhere on my new phone. I forgot to save them to the “cloud”, so I had to walk in silence. Not a good think when you just want to be distracted. But I guess God decided we… Read more

How to handle life when it explodes

These last eight days have been traumatic and that might be an understatement. So this is a quick post. I was supposed to be in San Francisco this week so I had a week’s worth of posts ready, some of which have already posted. But I wanted to interrupt the flow to bring  you up-to-date.… Read more

  • How do you crash land after flying?

HARD LANDINGS Perhaps one of the hardest things to do is to “come down” after a particularly good time. Do you have that problem, too? You know, it’s like when you come back from vacation and face your real, mundane world again. It was so much fun not thinking about people and situations, wasn’t it?… Read more
