A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • Why Incubation is for more than eggs

I’ve been reading an interesting book. It’s by John Maxwell and it’s called The Fifteen Invaluable Laws of Growth”. It’s from chapter four, “The Law of Reflection”.  Up to… Read more

When your heart breaks, what do you do?

I was off the blogging grid yesterday. The last twenty-four hours have found me in crisis mode. My mom fell again. And we are now making plans for her I prayed I would never have to make. When I say “pray”, I do mean “pray”. I’ve prayed so hard my mom would never have to leave her… Read more

When people surprise us and we ask, why didn’t I know that? Why we are confused when people surprise us. It always comes as a shock when people we’ve known for a long time surprise us by their behavior. It really throws us for a loop and if it’s questionable behavior, we shake our head… Read more

Do our words matter, even ten or so past years later?

I’m not going to reinvent the wheel today. I’m not going to bring up the political events of last week. I’m not going to mention last night’s presidential debate. I don’t have to. It’s all anyone is talking about today. But what I am going to do is list some posts I”ve written in the past about… Read more
