A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • could this be the last prayer?

I believe that at times God gives me very specific insight into how to pray for a person or a situation. Sometimes I run into a roadblock of sorts when praying for someone because I sense there is more to the situation and if I knew more, I could pray more intelligently. God doesn’t always give us such… Read more

  • why bad manners are not just a “mistake”

Someone very close to my hubby and I has been incredibly rude. This is a young person who should know better. A young person who has come to us time and again and to whom we’ve never turned down. We’ve been there for them through a lot of crisis’. We interrupted our plans yesterday as… Read more

  • a creative and fun Saturday

It’s Labor Day and hubby and I are going to do just that-labor. I’m so excited. As you know we’ve been kinda’, sorta” remodeling this big ole’ house for the last couple of years. We’ve been looking for a coat rack. Couldn’t find anything big enough. Looking for a bench/table  in front of window of sun room… Read more
