two great make-up products you have to try

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to tell you about two great make-up products. As you must know from following this blog, I’m cheap about most things. I’m really cheap when it comes to my make-up.
BUT, I’m not cheap about my moisturizer, face creams, etc. I spend more (although still not the expensive department store brands) on those items. It seems to me the top-layer is never going to look good if my skin isn’t healthy and if my skin is healthy, the rest is just window dressing.
This first item I buy at the Dollar Tree. In fact, I’ve never spent much on eye shadow. I mean what does it do anyway?  I’m not into smoldering  or exotic looking eyes so any brand works. I’ve been using Dollar store brands for at least ten years. It goes on smooth and it lasts all day. I don’t use all the colors, only the greys, but I would spend more than that for a pallet of just grays anywhere else, so if I throw away the colors I don’t use, I figure I’m still ahead.
The second item, the mascara, I started using about three months ago. It’s from Dollar General. I think it was $4:00. This is one product I’m kind of fussy about. I really like the old stand-by that most of us have used for years, Cover Girl Great Lash. Â It’s gone up in price significantly. So what I’ve been doing is using the cheaper brand first and then after that has dried, I coat my lashes again with the Great Lash mascara. You did know, didn’t you, that you are supposed to use two coats of mascara.
Anyway, try out some of these brands if you’re looking for a bargain. You might be pleasantly surprised.
