A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

So many times Christians think that if they sacrifice something for God, it shows him how much they love him. But let me remind you that first, we needn’t give up anything unless God… Read more

Why we should”do” the Bible and not just read it / 2
More thoughts added to yesterday’s post. We love to argue low carbs or low fat. (Just exercise and eat moderately. Right?) Money in stocks, bonds, or mutual funds? (Just save more than you spend.) Lifting weights or cardio? (Just exercise regularly.) Full baptism or sprinkling? (Does it really matter? Does our salvation depend on it?)… Read more

Why we should “do” and not just read the Bible
I read this the other day and wanted to share it with you. I am assuming it is true and even if it isn’t, it’s worth thinking about. A businessman known for his ruthlessness, arrogance, and religiosity once told Mark Twain he intended to travel to the Holy Land before he died. He wanted to… Read more
