A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • doubts

doubts I sure am glad my last post was about grace because today I’m feelin’ the lack of it.  Doesn’t mean it isn’t there.  God’s grace probably shines on us more often than we realize. I’m not doubting that today. Just doubting. Do you ever have days like that?  Days when you’re feeling “unsettled”, not quite Read more

  • Grace Unleashed

Grace Unleashed Just a quick post today but an important one. Sometimes God (You may call your power source something else. For me, He’s God.) shoots grace our way  when we least expect it. We might not even recognize it till after the fact. We should, of course. Especially if it’s been a matter of concern.  But maybe that’s exactly Read more

what happens in Vegas doesn’t…… (Before I get to the main focus of this post, just wanted to give you an update about where we are with this renovation project.  Actually, I probably shouldn’t call it that because we haven’t demolished anything or ripped anything up but carpet and wallpaper which maybe only qualifies for Read more

  • baby steps

baby steps I love what Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”(By the way, I may be a Christian but God speaks to us even through those that are not, as evidenced by many a story in scripture.) I wonder if Gandhi suffered depression because Read more

  • Home from ski week

Some pictures from condo. More to follow. This is part of living room. Kitchen area. Light coming in window made taking picture difficult. Notice the red antique chair on the left. Two people could sit on it. Skis were hung on walls in just about every room. Antique, children’s skis, etc. One of main bedrooms. Hallway going Read more

  • Ski week

Well, we’re at the condo. What can I say? One of cutest places I’ve seen. The wife apparently did the decorating and we must be soul sisters. I am so totally in agreement with everything she did. Maybe that’s why the karma is so good here. I’m very influenced by my surroundings- to a fault Read more
