A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • God’s gift to u…

God’s gift to us: potential. Our gift to Go: developing it. Author unknown How true. We all have so much potential that never gets developed. What gets in our way?  Probably fear. • walking in the woods without a flashlight

Sometimes that how I feel, like I’m walking through the woods without a flashlight.  Do you know what I mean?  It’s like sometimes there’s darkness all around.  I hear noises and I wonder. Should I be afraid?  Is something out there ready to pounce? If I had a flashlight maybe I could beam it at Read more

  • empty spaces equal strong minds

I read something interesting the other day. “Do you want to know what makes music?” The answer is, the space between the notes. If it weren’t for those quiet spaces, all we would hear is constant noise. Where is that space in our lives? Where are those quiet, contemplative moments in our life? If our lives minds are Read more

  • oh, the joy of being impaled by a rose bush

Yesterday was wonderful. Warm and sunny. Worked in my garden and pruned thirty or so rose bushes. I have the scars to prove it.  At one point, I got tangled up in an aggressive climbing rose and couldn’t get free. I could just see the headlines: “Woman impaled by rose bush.” Today’s weather.  Not so Read more
