A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

The snow is falling and I am forgiven

And while my sin is more of the subtle kind these days, (indulgences like overeating, binge TV watching, a critical attitude at times, selfishness, etc.), it’s still called sin. So Read more

I want to be sure that when I write about depression (and will also be including this in my book), that you understand that I know we are all living different lives. I was just at my daughter’s for Halloween. Her and her husband work full-time. They have two young boys, one is ten, the Read more

What a day! Way too much “medical” going on.
For about six months, I’ve dealt with what I thought was IBS. But these months have been far more frequent to the point that I’ve been disabled for a couple of days each week. My husband and I are wanting to plan some trips but we can’t because we never know when I might have Read more

Prayer is the first step to good decision-making.
“Conversing with the Father is colored by the needs of the day. Let your prayer for the day be something specific, arising either out of the Word which you have read, or out of the real soul needs which you long to be satisfied. Let our prayer be definite that you can say as you Read more

How gratitude prompts joy.
How are you doing today? We are heading to our daughter’s for Halloween. I help pass out candy and my husband goes out with the daughter and son-in-law and takes the little ‘uns trick or treating. This year the weather is supposed to be awful, rain, snow, and cold. Oh, well, can’t change the weather, Read more
