A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • A really new twist on fabric pumpkins.

So last week I showed you a bunch of fabric pumpkins I’ve made. What I didn’t show you was what I consider a great way to make the “sections” on the pumpkin without having to sew anything. Here are the pumpkins I sent my daughter. By the way, I used driftwood and sticks for the… Read more

My growing pumpkin obsession. It’s getting worse!

Pumpkins have almost become an obsession for me. Seriously. I have this tendency to get obsessed on one project and then going overboard because I love it so much. For a while, it was bottles, mason jars, and anything glass. . Then it was scarves, knitted, and fabric.  These were cowl scarves from double-sided flannel.… Read more

  • Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself.

Here’s how I made it. First of all, I had the wood in the garage. My husband has been telling me to use it up so I came up with these signs. I didn’t cut the wood or anything. I used it at the length it was and just made it all work. I just… Read more

  • in case you are wondering about most recent post

In case you’re wondering about that mini-post that appeared yesterday , I was trying to copy and paste a portion of scripture from my phone to WordPress as a draft. Instead, it published. Apparently, there is no way to do this. I knew it might end up publishing but it was a great verse anyway.… Read more

Shiny gold and rustic pallet boards. What a combo!

What was your weekend like? Did you do anything fun? How about creative? Or did you just relax? All three are fine, of course. I hit some garage sales, of course. There won’t be much more as the weather gets cooler, cooler, and then cold. But then there are estate sales. I found some interesting… Read more
