A little tease today.

Good morning.

How many of you are having Easter dinner at your home?

I didn’t know I was until a few days ago. And then yesterday I found out my son and his family are coming as well as my daughter and her family.

It’s been years since I’ve had Easter dinner here and I am looking forward to it.

However, I will be out-of-town all day Saturday so that means I have to have everything ready a day earlier. I think I’ve got the meal figured out but it’s the tablescape that I’m still figuring out.

So I thought, I’ll go to Dollar Tree and make it work from there. So here’s what I found. The wood pieces will be used for elevating various items. I already had the napkins which is why I decided on the rest of the items. My plates are pale green. Not my favorite plates but for a kind of “watercolor” tablescape, they will be great.

How about those ceramic birds?

Do you see where I am heading? And how about those adorable little vases with the blue flowers? Adorable.

And then these adorable napkin holders I printed out on heavier weight paper? There are a total of eight and they are geared towards children and while we well only have two children, I will have the adults read as well. You can find those here.
