A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Caffeine happiness. Do you suffer from it?
Happy people are almost always at peace, with themselves, and with God. They are stable. They don’t depend on the caffeine of life to give them a sense of well-being. They know what makes them happy. They don’t indulge in anger and negativity because they know it undermines their joy in living. They know that… Read more

What is a “breath” prayer?
( This post is from a few years ago. I love this whole concept of “breath” prayers.) A “breath” prayer is a prayer that can be said in one breath. The ancient monks often prayed, “Lord, have mercy” as their “breath” prayers. Christians often repeat the name, “Jesus”. I have a number of them. A few of my… Read more

Who do your choices reflect?
Chip Gaines said in his book “Capital Gains”, “The only difference between a painter and an aspiring painter is that willingness to put those inner urges into action.” I might phrase that last part as “that willingness to pick up a paintbrush and lay done some paint”. And we could substitute any occupation. For an… Read more
