A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

The pastor was wonderful. It was most definitely a different kind of “royal” wedding. And then there was THE… Read more

Why WE are the one to “add” to our faith.
Add to your faith virtue. “Furnish your faith with resolution,” moffatt]…. 2 PETER 1:5 “Add” means there is something we have to do. I think as Christians, we often think that God is supposed to do it all. I’ve heard many a sermon debunking the phrase, “God helps those who help themselves.” They think it means… Read more

It’s not “if” we fall; it’s “when” we fall
I love Psalms 37:14: “When he (man) falls, he shall not be hurled headlong, because the Lord is the One who holds his hand”. Did you notice the verse doesn’t say “if”. Believe it or not, I find some comfort in knowing I will slip, takes a little pressure off. Not in the “hurling” part… Read more
