A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Alphabet of thanks “L”
(For some reason, this didn’t post. So am posting it now.) Today I’m thankful for the concept of “lazy”. However it’s not what you think. It’s not because I have much experience with laziness. That’s precisely the point. I wish I were-lazier I mean. We are experiencing an unexpected snowstorm with accumulations of about four-to seven Read more

Alphabet of thanks, “K”
“K” “K” is not easy. I could cheat and use a “C” word that sounds like “K” and justify my choice based on phonics. But I won’t. I’m going to pick “kangaroos.” (They are not “pretty”, are they?) “Why”, you ask? Because kangaroos remind me of Australia and I love Australia. One of my favorite movies Read more

Alphabet of thanks, “J”
“J” I think everyone will agree with me today. I’m thankful for “Joy”. Pure, unspoiled joy. Who isn’t? Joy, unlike happiness, exists regardless of circumstances. For me it is the joy of knowing I am loved by God, period. It’s the joy of knowing that I’m forgiven when I screw up. It’s knowing grace and mercy will always shower Read more

Alphabet of thanks, “I”
Intervals. Yep. Intervals. What a strange thing to be grateful for, huh? But not when you really think about it. How would we get through life without intervals? Intervals between struggles. Intervals between depression. Intervals between demands. Intervals are good. Even on my Elliptical machine, intervals are what gets me through my work-out. Today Read more
