A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Today is another easy pick. I’m picking Goodwill. Not the attribute, the store.  I LOVE Goodwill stores! Except for a few pieces, almost all my furniture comes from thrift stores or second-hand shops. Probably eighty percent of my clothes do, too. From what others tell me, I do a pretty good job with putting my house and Read more

D, for “deliverance” Today I’m thankful for “deliverance”. Deliverance from so many things:   Those I know about and those I don’t. Those in my thoughts. Those in my nightmares. Those at the hands of others, those at my own. Those from within, those from without. Those imaginary, those that are too real. Deliverance is Read more

    C. for “choices” Tomorrow is election day in the United States so today I’m grateful for “choices”. I’m  grateful I live in a country where I have choices, that I live in a democracy. I can vote for whomever I want. No one can threaten me or take away that privilege. As a woman I have the Read more

    A.  “I’m a day behind for the post a day challenge for November. We were gone for the week-end so I’m catching up today.” I will be trying to post something I’m thankful for every day. Some days it will be extremely short, sometimes long. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious.”  Yesterday I was thankful for apples because my daughter and Read more
