A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

He set my foot upon a rock

I can continue with aspirin as needed for pain until the test results are back. Good news is that I can Read more

an alphabet of thanks, “L”
“L”, “L”, “L”. What begins with “L”. Leopards, little, lazy, lop-sided, love, laps, luxury, lettuce,…….. Today I pick, nope, not love, way too easy. I pick “little”. We all have a different criteria for what we consider “little”. To me, it’s all those “little” moments in life. The first cup of coffee in the morning. The Read more

a doctor’s appointment
Tomorrow is my annual physical. Or should I say my bi-annual physical. Actually, I rarely have a physical. I’m really not going for that anyway. I’m going because I’m tired of my body “attacking” me. That’s what these random shooting pains feel like. Like my body is “turning” on me. I began my own therapy Read more

what ever happened to Thanksgiving?
Seriously. What ever happened? Are we such a selfish people that we can’t set aside one day to spend time with family and friends and be thankful for our blessings?
