Why the word “anyway” can be a great encouragement

Anyway can be a very encouraging word. Here’s why.

do good anyway

I read a book a few years ago, Do It Anyway by Kent Keith, and I thought I’d share some of the precepts.

  • “People are illogicial, unreasonable, and self-centered.” Love them anyway.
  • “If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.” Do it anyway.
  • If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
  • The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
  • Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.

Those are some really great thoughts. You could add your own list.

God bless, and have a good day.
