frustrated shoe shopper

The are shoes and then there are shoes. If you’re a woman you know exactly what I mean There was a time I had lots and lots of shoes. That was when I had good feet. Now my choices are limited. So I went shopping last week for shoes as we’re headed to a warmer climate and I plan to do a lot of walking on a beach. It was frustrating as usual

Shoe shopping has been a nightmare for me for about ten years because of my feet.  I try to avoid even looking at cute shoes. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself. After all, shoes make the outfit, right?

So here’s how it went.

These are the shoes that caught my eye. (I should tell you I never wore shoes with heels like these. Maybe I knew then trouble was ‘acoming years later. I wore heels now and then but only for a few hours at a time. Of course, knowing I couldn’t now even if I wanted to made them all that more desirable.)
