Hi, from The unbelievable Ark Encounter.

We are in Kentucky.

God is surprising me once again.

This. happens all the time.

I expected to enjoy it.

I expected to learn a lot.

I expected to be blown-away by the ark itself.

What I didn’t expect was for it to be a spiritual experience.

But it was.

On. So. Many. Different. Levels.

We came back to the hotel and I had great clarity about some things. Some that were important on a larger scale, some important only to me.

I just knew that I knew that I knew.

Know what I mean?

It could’ve been that I realized, really realized, that I’m truly mortal, that my time on this earth is very finite. And every day, it gets more finite. If I’m going to accomplish what I feel God wants me to accomplish, I’d better get on with it.

Could it be the phrase I heard in one of the short movies we watched as part of the Ark Encounter?

Ten out of ten people die.”

I don’t find that maudlin. I find that freeing!

The only thing we will leave behind That has any eternal value is people. So the only thing we need to worry about is the legacy we leave behind.

Have we loved them enough?

Have we prayed enough for them?

Have we made them our priority?

Everything else we do is temporary and in the light of eternity, does our success or failure really matter? Sure, it’s Ok to want success. We just need not to make it,the be all and end all”.

So why not just be brave and do those things that you always dreamed about? If you fail, so what? You can try again.

Today, we head to the Creation Museum. Don’t know if I can take it!

God bless an have a great day.
