A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

I used that to create texture for the background. Who says you need to purchase art texturing compound when an everyday item will do… Read more

When you turn on the faucet, say “Thanks”
Do you ever think about the things of life that are so familiar? The things you never give thought to because, well, because they are familiar? Like every time you get a glass of water. Do you know how fortunate you are? I live in Michigan. We have more lakes than any other state. Yes, more… Read more

When the voice on the phone brings tears
Yesterday afternoon I was checking some of my voicemails on our landline phone. (Yes, we still have one in addition to our cell phones.) Wouldn’t you know, there was one from my mom. She died over a year ago. I wasn’t prepared to hear her voice. I felt like calling her right then as that was… Read more

Are there two sides to every story? No, there isn’t.
What???? What did I say? Stay with me as I explain, I’m pretty sure you’ll be on board once I’m through. First of all, it depends what we are talking about. If we are referring to family squabbles, relationship arguments, etc, then I agree that there might be two valid sides. But I would prefer… Read more
