Shiny gold and rustic pallet boards. What a combo!

What was your weekend like?

Did you do anything fun?

How about creative?

Or did you just relax?

All three are fine, of course.

I hit some garage sales, of course. There won’t be much more as the weather gets cooler, cooler, and then cold. But then there are estate sales.

I found some interesting items. In particular, these drapery holders. I have no idea what I’m going to do with them. But the women practically gave them to me, so what could I do?

When I was planning on taking the pictures, I didn’t have a suitable background and then I found the beginnings of an old project. I had nailed three pallet boards together and it’s been sitting in the garage for a couple of years.

\When I put these gold drapery holders on them, I loved the contrast of the shiny metallic gold against the rough pallet boards.

Now, if I could only figure out how to put the two together and make it all work.

I forgot to tell you but last week I started a five day round of Prednisone. And here’s the thing. Prednisone revs me up like adrenaline. So I have been very productive for the past week.
