A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

    It’s just how I roll

THE SITUATION It was a busy weekend. I needed to stay really busy for lots of reasons. There is an ongoing “situation” that could really get me down if didn’t. • How to walk in the woods without a flashlight.

Sometimes I feel, like I’m walking through the woods without a flashlight. Do you know what I mean? It’s like sometimes there’s darkness all around.  I hear noises and I wonder. Should I be afraid?  Is something out there ready to pounce? If I had a flashlight I maybe I could beam it at the… Read more

  • Do you have a “sandpaper” person in your life? I hope so.

Do you have a “sandpaper” person in your life? I hope so.

(I was “off the blogging grid” yesterday. I didn’t expect to be and usually I schedule my posts ahead of time. But there have been a lot of demands on my time this week. Plus, yesterday I had another back injection for spinal stenosis which causes sciatica. It was painless as usual but I developed… Read more

If you struggle with depression, you need to know this and I think you might the information very interesting. My daughter-in-law, a nurse who works for a mental health facility, first told me about it last year. I had occasion to call a pharmacist today about a prescription for antidepressants for someone.
