A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • What do eggs and families have in common?

When does an egg start to crack? Usually it’s when new life is about to begin. Other times it’s because it’s been damaged. I’m not sure about families. I remember reading “The Mulvaneys” years ago. It’s about a family that everyone thought was perfect but it had a tiny, tiny crack that was barely discernible behind… Read more

This is Tuesday. Tuesday is the day I’ve decided will be the day I post “tidbits” of interesting articles or media news I run across. Sometimes it will be funny, sometimes serious. It’s just what ever I find intriguing. When I was “pinning” today, I found this article about Wal-Mart I found interesting. I have… Read more

  • What to do when someone gives up on life?

The post today was going to be about the importance of making time for fun. About how we shouldn’t let life’s problems rob us of our joy in living. It was going to be about my day spent with friends, going out to lunch, and browsing some consignment shops. That’s what it was going to be about.… Read more

Controversies, and vitamin D. Week in review

This week has been “un-themed”.  (Is that even a word?  Well, it is now. Means no theme.) Seems to work best in summer. Who wants to read “heavy” posts when there’s sunshine to enjoy.  I’m saving that for the fall. No, really I am. Working on a series of post for September and October. I’m… Read more

Can vitamin D help relieve muscle pain?

I found this interesting article about the symptoms of a shortage of vitamin D. I wanted to share this link with my readers because I think it was interesting and might help someone. As you know I have been recuperating from my fifth foot surgery. I was still limping three months post-op with significant pain in… Read more
