A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

When it’s not your circus and they’re not your monkeys

Not your circus. Not your circus. If I had to give someone a sage piece of advice about relationships, I would say: “Don’t get caught up in drama that isn’t yours.” “If you don’t own the circus, they’re not your monkeys”. Things change God is the constant in our lives. The weather changes, our mood changes, and circumstances change. What a glorious weekend. Was yours as well? It seems like most people in the US had unseasonably warm weather this past Saturday. Ours was incredible. I worked in my yard for way too many hours. At Read more

Is God’s timing great or what?

God’s timing. God’s timing is amazing, which is why I had to share this with you today. I usually don’t post on Friday, but seeing as I’ve only posted twice this week, I figured it would be OK with you. But I have to take a moment to apologize in advance if you get two Read more

  • Why Christ died for us

    Why Christ died for us

Why Christ died for us is impossible to understand. It was such a sacrifice. We honor that sacrifice by accepting that sacrifice and trusting God every day. But just because we are acceptable in Christ doesn’t mean we can behave however we choose. That Christ died for me, therefore I get to do what I Read more

Depression has a big price. Quit paying

The following is an excerpt from a chapter in my book “Depression Has a Big Voice. Makes Yours Bigger! The day’s title is Depression Always Has a Price. As I mentioned yesterday, I am following Christ’s journey during this Holy Week. A LOT happens on this evening of the fifth day. During Passover, Jesus tells Read more
