A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

When feeling bad is good
Leaving Teeny Tiny Cabin tomorrow. So sad. I love it here Anyway, I brought up a lot books to leave here. Came across an older book I bought at Goodwill a few months back. I want to recommend it, especially to the women, although men will find it helpful, too. It’s When feeling bad is Read more

Hidden gifts
From Crisis Points: Working Through Personal Problems by Julian Sleigh: (Paraphrased) Look at the demons in our lives that make us shrink in fear and revulsion, as bearers of gifts hidden under their wings. If we challenge them and make them give up their gifts, they will be satisfied and will fly away, leaving us Read more

Worrying about worrying
(Still at cabin. Lots of pics. Our cabin is not on the river as the one photo suggests. That’s the Pine River just down the road.) I’ve been posting about anxiety and worry for the past few days. I got to thinking this morning-could there be a possibility that for some people it’s the worrying Read more
