You have to see these photos! I think they’re pretty amazing.

I think these pictures are pretty amazing, even if I do say so myself. I’m determined to take the best pictures I can with my phone camera    before I buy an expensive digital camera.

My husband and I were walking along Lake Michigan and came across these ice sculptures. They were just amazing.

This first one reminds me a bit of Yoda from Star Wars. The ice was “draped around this log as if it were a shiny, sparkly shawl.

Here’s a close up of the “ice” blanket.

These next two remind me of some kind of ancient monster. Do you see it?

These next few are various ice-covered weeds.

Now, I don’t know about you but when I see something like the way the ice looked that day, I just see God’s hands all over it. There is so much beauty in this world and while I know that scientists have all kinds of explanations, I know that God is behind those explanations.

The Bible says the same thing in Romans 1:20.

New International Version
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

Nature reaffirms my faith. Sometimes God shouts through nature like with the beautiful ice formations. Other times, He whispers through the tiniest bird outside my window. Sometimes, He overwhelms when I see field of sunflowers.

“Thank you, God, for the reminders. Some days it’s just what I need.”

God bless and have a great day.
